The idea was simple in the beginning. Original founders of the beloved Chez Piggy Restaurant, Rose Richardson & Zalman Yanovsky, wanted to open a small bakery to provide hand-made bread that would sufficiently complement their restaurant’s menu. From that small seed, grew Pan Chancho Bakery & Cafe ~ a dazzling European style bakery, a gourmet food shop and a dine in cafe.

The bustling retail store provides shoppers with artisanal breads, pastries, cakes and delectable desserts; gourmet grab and go deli items such as daily soups, sandwiches, pizza, salads and frozen goods; a fantastic array of local farm fresh produce ~ cheese, eggs, milk, greens, sausage and bacon ~ as well as imported olive oil, olives and now, our very own line of canned goods and frozen meals. We are the perfect choice for catering your business lunch, special occasion party or a more lavish affair entertaining guests at home.

Venture further into this heritage landmark to our dine-in cafe serving breakfast, lunch and all day brunch seven days a week with a menu that takes you on a global world tour. We are fully licensed with local beers on tap, signature cocktails and an international wine selection.
